Word Magnets allows you to create a list of words that can then be moved around the screen for sorting or ordering.
1. Go to http://www.triptico.co.uk/resources/wordMagnets/WordMagnets.html and click on "next" in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Type or paste the words into the box.
3. Click on "next" in bottom right corner.
4. Choose a background (eg. table, venn diagram, blank, 2 columns, etc.) and click on "Done".
5. Your words will now appear, scrambled, on your chosen background, ready to be dragged around.
6. Add more words, delete words, or change their colours by using the tools at the top.
7. You can't save the page, but you can screenshot it (see here for instructions).
Ideas forClassroom Use:
Sentence work - reconstruct the sentence, add punctuation, extend sentences, etc
Colour code the parts of the sentence (noun, adjective, etc)
Sorting activities
